pdelta

pdelta is archived under that name in the PlanetLab SVN. The name stands for "Planet Delta", meaning a confluence of ``Planet Flows.'' Installing pdelta is easy. Simply expand the package in a directory on the system that will host pFC, and edit the file config.pfc to contain the right directories. One of these directories is the executable path of Silktools (discussed next). Run pdelta leaving the working directory to be the one in which it was expanded. If for some reason you need to terminate it, you can hit C, but be aware that this may leave some files that are synchronized but not imported into silktools (because you killed the import by hitting C). A tool called harvest.pl can be found in pdelta repository that can be used to recover such data. It is therefore useful to run pdelta in the following form:

\begin{lstlisting}
./pdelta;./harvest.pl
\end{lstlisting}
